Box Hill Institute. Building LA & Auditorium – RECIPS Electrical

Box Hill Institute. Building LA & Auditorium

Strip down and installation of lighting, AV system and communication cabling.

Client inherited a building which had been vacant for 3 years. They guttered it and turned one section into a community library, another into corporate conference facilities and other parts were converted into class rooms for their own use.

As per client instructions, all works were undertaken, and completed during the summer holiday period.

Services included:

  • Complete strip out and removal of redundant electrical services

Upgrade existing auditorium service:

  • Lighting to Philips Dynalite lighting control system
  • Integration with new auditorium AV system
  • Installation of updated data and communication cabling
  • Upgrade of over 200 exit emergency lights to a centrally monitored system. This system reduces ongoing testing, maintenance and compliance costs.

What the client said:

“We were so impressed with the professional attitude of the RECIPS team and the knowledge. They were on time, clean and got the job done. We went on to use them for a number of projects, and will continue to do so.”

“It was important during our upgrade and extension that all our patients’ needs were met, and all our systems continued to operate. The RECIPS team worked with us, and our builders to ensure that disruption was minimised and our looming timeframes were met.

We’re happy to say the project was completed efficiently. We’re so happy with the work and professional nature of the RECIPS electricians.”

Jamie Keating, Senior Project Manager, Domain National

We were initially worried that this project would never be completed in the tight timeframe required. Thankfully, we had used RECIPS before, so when we approached them for this project, they assured us the timeframe was achievable. They managed the entire aspects of the specific lighting needs, and ensured our animal’s conditions were maintained.

RECIPS got the job done on time. This means our new facilities were ready to be opened on the first day of the new school year.
