Test and Tag

“Test and Tag” for equipment and appliances, is required by Australian Standard AS NZS 3760 and Worksafe Victoria.  Like any electrical services, it’s always best to have your testing and repairs completed by experienced, A-Grade electricians.

Electrical testing & tagging must be completed regularly. We test and tag for construction business, offices, schools, shops, workshops, caterers and more.

As part of our test and tag process, RECIPS completes a comprehensive Visual Test and Electrical Test on your appliances, before they are recorded as safe. As A-Grade electricians, we can also complete any repairs for you, on site.

RECIPS Test and Tag service includes:

• Insulation Resistance
• Leakage Current Testing
• Polarity
• Earth Resistance

Once we’ve completed testing and tagging, you receive a logbook, listing:

• All equipment we have tested
• Details of any repairs completed
• Records of the tests and the tag numbers

You will also receive reminders before your next batch of tests are due.
